Sleep and recovery

Explore sleep and recovery with more context

BIOXS lets you review rest alongside activity, personal records and compatible metrics. Sleep duration, resting heart rate and HRV can add context as you observe changes in your routine.

How it works

  1. Share available sleep data through Health Connect.
  2. Add how you feel to your daily record.
  3. Review trends alongside workouts and habits.

What your device provides

Sleep detail depends on the device and what its app exports. If it only shares duration, do not expect sleep stages. HRV and resting heart rate also require sources that share those metrics.

Trends before isolated conclusions

A single night or reading does not fully explain how you feel. Review multiple records and their context: activity, schedules, meals and your perception of rest.

  • Missing data does not mean you did not sleep or rest.
  • Changing devices may change how measurements are made.
  • Two records changing together does not prove that one caused the other.

What recovery means in BIOXS

Tracking organizes signals and context to help you observe wellbeing. It does not diagnose sleep disorders or determine whether exercise is safe. Seek professional advice about persistent or concerning symptoms.

Frequently asked questions

Does BIOXS measure sleep using my phone?

This feature reads data from compatible sources. It does not promise direct sleep-stage measurement using a phone.

Do I need HRV to get started?

You can review other available records. Missing HRV should not be presented as a known measurement or replaced with an invented value.

Can a score replace how I feel?

No. Indicators are partial summaries and should be considered alongside your perception, context and measurement limitations.
