Recipe ideas using what is in your fridge or pantry

BIOXS uses the ingredients you provide from your fridge or pantry to suggest meal ideas. The recipe feature combines ingredients, preferences and filters to help you decide what to cook.

How it works

  1. Provide available ingredients or a photo of your fridge or pantry.
  2. Review recognized ingredients and adjust your preferences.
  3. Explore suggestions and check ingredients before cooking.

Start with ingredients you already have

An ingredient list gives a more specific starting point than a general recipe search. Photos may help identify food, but do not always show quantities, labels or the contents of containers.

Discover, filter and save ideas

The recipe interface has ingredients, discovery and favorites sections. The discovery view includes filters and allergen preferences as well as AI recipe generation.

  • Check that recognized ingredients match what you have.
  • Check whether a suggestion requires additional ingredients.
  • Adjust quantities to the portions you plan to prepare.

Recipes and meal logging are different features

A recipe is a cooking suggestion. A nutrition record reflects what you ate and the quantities you provide. Do not assume generating a recipe automatically logs a meal or that its estimates match your final preparation.

Preferences and allergies

Filters help guide suggestions, but do not guarantee the absence of allergens. Check ingredients, labels and potential cross-contamination. A photo cannot fully verify food safety.

Frequently asked questions

Can I find recipes using ingredients in my fridge?

Yes. The feature uses ingredients you provide from your fridge or pantry as context for suggestions.

Does a photo detect every ingredient?

Not necessarily. Closed containers, hidden food or recognition errors may affect results. Review the list before using it.

Do recipes replace a nutrition plan?

No. They are meal ideas based on available information. Follow professional guidance if you have specific nutritional needs.
